The African ecosystem today is heavily dependent on foreign technology, infrastructure, and innovation. This huge dependence can make it feel as though we occupy the bottom rung of global influence and forces a hard question: Are we lesser people? Artsflame believes otherwise. Our ancient leaders, innovators, and thinkers didn’t live as consumers. They built empires, created, governed, and shaped their world with raw vision and courage. They were kings not just by title, but by action.
ARE WE LESSER MEN? is a direct challenge to the present. Through fine art, sculpture, and spatial installations, this exhibition confronts modern dependency, draws strength from ancestral legacies, and reignites a simple truth: we have not lost our capacity to rise; we simply forgot who we are. We can build. We can lead. We can create.
Not just a passive celebration of history; it is a direct provocation to the present. We’re showcasing works that engage with ancestral strength, resilience, identity, and industrial vision, ARE WE LESSER MEN?
